The coffee produced there has a long and proud tradition of excellence, with a flavor profile that is truly unique. This coffee is grown by smallholder farmers in the Molino Norte region of Matagalpa. The processed use for the beans helps to give the coffee a rich and complex flavor profile, with notes of cocoa, floral, and citrus tones.

  • The soil in this region is Clay Minerals, which help to produce a coffee that is high in nutrients and minerals. The high altitude of 900-1590 meters also helps to produce a coffee that is high in antioxidants and flavor.
  • The beans are handpicked, which is a painstaking process, and fully washed, fermented for 12-14 hours, and then dried on raised beds. Each cup of Nicaragua offers cocoa, floral, and citrus tones.
